Meet Jody

President and Co-Owner

Frustrated after surgery relying on the assistance of nurses (often male) to get her bottoms up and down, she felt her dignity was impinged.

Jody and her husband, Art, came up with an idea that enabled her to pull up her pants where she could readily manage putting them on completely without having to bend or compromise incisions. In February 2023, Jody united with long time friend, Sally Martinez, to take the initial idea and create a product they could sell. Together we established DigniTDevices™, LLC.

Her dear friend of over 20 years put her to the task of collaborating with her to establish a business to manufacture assistive devices. 

An entrepreneur at heart she put her research skills to work and was able to find a local manufacturer, Remedy Medical, that works with small, start-up companies.  That initial collaboration lead to consultant, Renae Franz of LeanRAQA and the connections have continued to grow.
